Radio
Internet radio stations have a name, an address and optionally a picture. Each card plays one station.
Add stations
Section titled “Add stations”In the library open Radio and tap Add station:
- Search. With the plugin Radio directories (on from the setup; Settings → Plugins switches it off) the dialog searches radio-browser.info, an open directory. Type a name or a topic such as “kinder”; stations are listed with logo, country and bitrate. Without a search term, the popular stations of your country appear. One tap adds a station. What you type is sent to radio-browser.info.
- By address. Add by address takes the address of the stream. It may also be an
.m3uor.plsfile from the station’s website; the box finds the stream in it.
The menu next to the button imports and exports lists of stations as .m3u files, the format that radio apps use.
On a card
Section titled “On a card”Play the station and tap the card button in the player, or choose Play radio when registering a card in the card list.
While it plays
Section titled “While it plays”The player shows the station’s picture and name, and what the station says about itself: the current title, as far as it is sent. A stream that drops out is reconnected by itself.
Stations you listened to last are listed under Library → Continue. Its menu can remove an entry from that list (the station stays). The same list holds audiobooks and podcasts.
