Your first card

This page needs an RFID reader that works with the box (see RFID readers and cards; a USB reader is the easy start) and something to play: music you uploaded, a radio station or a podcast, see The box is running.

Put it on a card

1. Let the album, station or podcast play and tap the card button in the player.
2. Hold a card on the reader.
3. The card is now registered. Take it away and put it back: it starts again.

A new card the box does not know yet shows Register in the player. All cards are listed under Settings → Cards.

Hand it over

Give the card to your child. That is the whole idea: card on, music plays.

Further cards work the same way. Besides albums, a card can start a podcast, a radio station, an audiobook, or do things such as louder, pause or shut down: see Cards.
